2016 Scandinavian Conference

The Scandinavian Heritage Conference on Friday morning gives participants an opportunity to learn about and reflect on Scandinavian influences in the lives of pioneer founders of the Sanpete Valley. Delivered in layman's terms, the presentations are particularly captivating for adults and teens with Scandinavian or other pioneer ancestors. The Scandinavian Heritage Conference will contain a little bit of something for everyone.

This year's conference features a talk on the historical significance and links between Ephraim Canyon and Ephraim's settlers as well as a presentation on Scandinavian rug weaving. Please see the link for Conference Speakers for more information.

Please consider enriching your festival experience by arriving Friday morning, attending the conference, and swinging into the "festive" part of the celebration Friday at noon when booths open and entertainment begins.
